Jnana Sudhe

Jnana Sudhe is a forum of social work students, started with the objective to facilitate knowledge exchange and build a supportive community for collaboration and advocacy. The forum mainly focuses on organizing programs that help students build professional skills such as communication, leadership, critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving which are vital in the present context. It also creates a safe space to explore opportunities for social justice and community engagement, including organizing health-related camps, conducting rural surveys, rural exposure camps, and observing important days like World Mental Health Day, Suicide Prevention Day, and Human Rights Day.
These activities help develop empathetic understanding of social issues. Students gain practical exposure to diverse fields of social work, enabling them to identify their interest areas and choose appropriate specializations in higher education.
