The college appointed Prof. Huchaiah M, Retired Professor of Political Science, as the Ombudsperson to address student grievances in compliance with the University Grants Commission (UGC) regulations. This position ensures a fair, transparent, and effective mechanism for resolving student issues within the institution.
Key Responsibilities
- Grievance Redressal: Hear and resolve appeals against SGRC decisions.
- Confidentiality & Impartiality: Maintain neutrality and confidentiality.
- Dispute Resolution: Facilitate fair resolution of student conflicts.
- UGC Regulations: Operate under official UGC guidelines.
- Time-Bound Resolution: Ensure all grievances are resolved within 30 days.
The Ombudsperson collaborates closely with the Student Grievance Redressal Committees (SGRCs) to ensure a transparent and efficient grievance redressal system.
