Kateel Ashok Pai Memorial Institutions (KAPMI)
Kateel Ashok Pai Memorial Institutions (KAPMI) is a group of institutions started by Manasa Trust, Shivamogga. Late Dr. K. A. Ashok Pai, founder of the trust, was an internationally renowned community psychiatrist, writer, filmmaker, philanthropist, and pioneer in the field of mental health.
The Group Consists Of:
- Kateel Ashok Pai Memorial College (2017) — Affiliated to Kuvempu University, Shivamogga.
- Kateel Ashok Pai Memorial Institute of Allied Health Science (2019) — Affiliated to RGUHS, Bengaluru.
- Kateel Ashok Pai Memorial Institute of Nursing (2024) — Affiliated to RGUHS, Bengaluru.
KAPMC (Affiliated to Kuvempu University under the Karnataka State University Act 1976, recognized by the Govt. of Karnataka) was founded to provide higher education in psychology and humanities, aiming to build a healthier society. Located in the heart of Shivamogga city near the bus stand and railway station, it offers a self-contained campus with well-ventilated classrooms, a modern library, psychology and computer labs, and other student-friendly amenities.
The college focuses on holistic student development by encouraging participation in cultural, academic, and personal growth programs. Guided by a team of highly qualified and compassionate faculty, KAPMC is dedicated to providing quality education and nurturing strong moral values.
