INTERNAL QUALITY ASSURANCE CELL (I.Q.A.C)

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Kateel Ashok Pai Memorial College is established to ensure continuous improvement in academic and administrative performance. The cell develops quality benchmarks, promotes a culture of excellence, and monitors teaching–learning processes, research activities, and institutional practices in line with NAAC guidelines.

ANTI-RAGGING CELL

The Anti-Ragging Cell at Kateel Ashok Pai Memorial College (KAPMC) is established to prevent ragging and ensure a safe, disciplined, and supportive campus environment. The cell strictly follows UGC and Government of India regulations, conducts awareness programmes, and takes prompt action on any reported incidents to safeguard student welfare.

HUMAN RIGHTS PROTECTION CELL

The Human Rights Protection Cell at Kateel Ashok Pai Memorial College (KAPMC) is constituted to promote awareness and protection of human rights within the institution. The cell ensures equality, dignity, and justice for all stakeholders, addresses grievances related to human rights issues, and encourages ethical values, inclusivity, and social responsibility on campus.

DISCIPLINE CELL

The Discipline Cell of KAPMC ensures a safe, orderly, and respectful campus environment. It promotes adherence to institutional rules and code of conduct, addresses issues of indiscipline fairly, and works to instill values of responsibility, integrity, and mutual respect among students, contributing to a positive academic atmosphere.

WOMEN EMPOWERMENT AND PREVENTION OF SEXUAL HARASSMENT CELL

The Women Empowerment and Prevention of Sexual Harassment Cell at KAPMC is committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and gender-sensitive campus. The cell works in accordance with UGC guidelines and the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace Act, 2013, to prevent sexual harassment and promote dignity and equality. It conducts awareness and empowerment programs and provides a confidential mechanism for grievance redressal, ensuring a respectful academic environment for all.

PUBLICATION COMMITTEE

The Publication Committee of KAPMC is responsible for planning, compiling, and publishing academic and institutional publications of the college. It encourages quality writing and research, oversees magazines, newsletters, reports, and other official publications, and ensures accuracy, consistency, and timely dissemination of information, reflecting the academic standards and achievements of the institution.

STUDENT WELFARE COMMITTEE

The Student Welfare Committee of KAPMC is dedicated to supporting the overall well-being and holistic development of students. It addresses student needs and concerns, promotes a supportive learning environment, and implements welfare initiatives related to academic support, health, counseling, and financial assistance, ensuring a positive and inclusive campus experience.

INTERNAL ASSESSMENT COMMITTEE

The Internal Assessment Committee of KAPMC ensures the fair, transparent, and systematic conduct of internal assessments as per university norms. The committee oversees the planning, implementation, and monitoring of internal evaluation processes, ensuring academic integrity, timely assessments, and continuous evaluation of student performance to support academic excellence.

GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL CELL

The Grievance Redressal Cell of KAPMC is established to address and resolve grievances of students, faculty, and staff in a fair, transparent, and timely manner. The cell provides a safe platform for expressing concerns related to academic, administrative, or personal issues and works to ensure justice, confidentiality, and a harmonious campus environment.

SCHEDULED CASTE AND SCHEDULED TRIBE CELL

The Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Cell of KAPMC is constituted to safeguard the rights and interests of SC/ST students and staff. The cell works to promote social justice, equality, and inclusion by addressing grievances, implementing welfare measures, and creating awareness about government schemes and institutional support, ensuring a supportive and discrimination-free campus environment.

The Equal Opportunities & Facilities Cell of KAPMC is committed to promoting equality, inclusiveness, and accessibility for all students and staff. The cell works to ensure equal access to academic, infrastructural, and support facilities, particularly for disadvantaged and differently-abled persons, fostering a fair, supportive, and barrier-free campus environment.

DISHA CAREER GUIDANCE AND PLACEMENT CELL

The DISHA Career Guidance and Placement Cell of KAPMC is dedicated to supporting students in career planning and employability enhancement. The cell provides guidance on higher education, competitive examinations, and career opportunities, and facilitates skill development, training programs, and placement support, enabling students to make informed career choices and achieve professional success.

YASHODEEPA COMMITTEE

The Yashodeepa Committee (Parent–Teachers Committee) of KAPMC serves as a vital link between parents and the institution. The committee facilitates regular interaction between parents and teachers to discuss students’ academic progress, discipline, and overall development. It aims to strengthen cooperation, enhance student support, and foster a collaborative and nurturing learning environment.
