Bachelor of Social Work (B.S.W.)

The Bachelor of Social Work (B.S.W.) program is a professional undergraduate degree designed to prepare students for meaningful careers in the field of social services, community development, and welfare sectors. The program aims to equip students with theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and ethical values required to understand and address various social issues affecting individuals, groups, and communities.

B.S.W. Program

The B.S.W. curriculum integrates classroom learning with fieldwork, case studies, and community-based projects, enabling students to gain hands-on experience in real-life social work settings. Students learn about human behaviour, social policy, counselling, community organization, and social research, preparing them to work effectively with diverse populations and social institutions.
Graduates of the program are well-prepared to pursue careers in NGOs, hospitals, schools, government welfare departments, and rehabilitation centres, or to continue higher studies in Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) and related disciplines.
