Date: April 10th and 11th 2026

Theme of the Conference: Artificial Intelligence has made colossal strides in the recent decades and has already started making revolutionary impact on all domains from corporate capital, global economy to academic institutions and knowledge creation. It has already percolated into how we organise our everyday lives, professional careers and citizenship. Globally, wide ranging debates have facilitated a vibrant exchange of ideas and perspectives on the impact of AI in the near future. More specifically the developments have prioritised the questions what shall happen to our conceptualisation of knowledges? Aren't the boundaries between various knowledges (already being erased by post-structural theoretical developments) certainly on the way to erasure? How would this impact the dominant idea of inter disciplinarity which has been shaping higher education programmes and research? Will AI soon be in a position to replace academic research by individual researchers? How are we to cope with such revolutionary changes? We are in the midst of lively debates as well as apprehensions.

The two day national conference is conceptualised to provide a forum for teachers, researchers and policy makers to discuss these seminal issues. The conference shall be multi-disciplinary in order to integrate various perspectives on the theme. It shall include key note sessions, individual and panel presentations and open house discussions.
