What is the qualification required for the course?

Full time BA/ B.Sc in Psychology from any recognized university in India (Minor subject not considered) with a minimum of 55 % in Psychology across the three years / 6 semesters)

Is there an entrance test?

Yes. An entrance test followed by a personal interview will be held at Kateel Ashok Pai Memorial College. The duration will be for 2 days. No online entrance facility available. The syllabus includes UG Psychology syllabus + Basics of clinical Psychology + Research. Details of the same will be informed to you after the application is processed.

What is the medium of instruction?

English. The student is required to have good hold over English language to write clinical reports.

Clinical work is not a compulsion as per the syllabus , however all students undergo weekly clinical and child postings and internships in areas of their choice.

What is the intake?

15 seats for direct admission through entrance exam, and 15 seats through University allotment of seats. Students who wish to apply through University quota are to apply when the university calls for admissions in Oct/ Nov on the website.  (http://www.kuvempu.ac.in/)

Do I have to mention the specialization right at the beginning?

No the option would be given at the end of the second semester.
